Argh ma gawwd this is good. So good that I have to hold back from just sitting here and eating the whole thing... cause lets face it, that wouldn't be pretty...

So, lets share the love and get busy in the kitchen this weekend for a decadent (almost) Christmas treat!

What you need:

1 cup natural peanut butter

1-2 Tbls of Goodies and Grains Coconut paste 

1/2 cup raw cacao - more or less if you prefer

1/2 can of chickpeas

1/2 cup of coconut nectar or maple syrup (I used half coconut nectar and half organic jaggery)

2-4 Tbls desiccated coconut

1 generous pinch of salt

What to do:

Throw all ingredients into a food processor or get a great arm workout and stir/mash it all up.

- On a warm day the coconut pasta and peanut butter should be soft enough to work with, but if its cooler, warm them up on a gentle heat and then stir in the syrup and dry ingredients.

Try to keep the chickpeas a little chunky so there is a bit of texture to the slab.

Then roll the mix out into a lined cake tin of slice dish (is that even a thing?)
Press down and try to even it out to about 1.5cm 

Then leave in the freezer until its time to serve. (Mine has been in the freezer for a day and is still soft and chewy...and delicious!
